Christina was a tremendous assett to the alliance, keeping minutes, her organizational skills were exceptional, as well as the great input she offered. Christina certainly helped with the exponential growth we experiences. Thanks Christina!</p>

Food furnished by the Great Holy Cow Catering, Keynote speaker-Local Author of &#8220;Eating Close to Home&#8221; Elin England.<br />
New board of directors elected: Ron Leppert-Sundance, Norma Grier-(past E.D. of NCAP) Cafe Mam/Royal Blueberries, Marc Donofrio-Coconut Bliss, Tobias Schock-Valley Vintner and Brewer and re-elected Felicia Colden-Mountain Rose Herbs.</p>
<p><strong>December</strong><br />
Fun with Fermentation event is in full swing.<br />
U of O Marketing/PR department partners with WVSFA.</p>
<p><strong>January 2010</strong><br />
Fun with Fermentation Event-<br />
Very successful, brought in $2000 for FOOD for Lane County. Event was focused on all of the wonderful ferementated products that are made right here in the Willamette Valley. Demonstrations of how simple it is to make fermented products, such as Kombucha, Sauer Kraut, Goat Cheese and more. Beer, Wine and Mead and so many delicious foods were available for tastings.</p>
<p>Well, that was just a peek at what we intend to bring you in the coming year! Stay tuned in and keep an eye and ear out for more!<br />
